Today the markets have a nice list of economic data to look over. The ADP number will be interesting to watch ahead of Friday's BLS payrolls report. The 9:30 crude inventories report will also be of interest today after yesterday's trade balance report showed such a dramatic drop in oil imports. The big news for today will be the FOMC minutes. With Yellen's confirmation Monday the markets want to know how aggressive Big Daddy will or won't be with a dove at the helm. Trade strong.

The US trade deficit came in way under expectations at $34.3B vs forecasts of $40.9. That is the lowest trade balance number since 2009 and was led by the lowest level of oil imports in 3 years and a record high in the exports number. All that good news helped push the March S&P to its first positive day of the year. The contract closed up +10.00 at 1830.70. WTI stayed steady up just +.24 and gold sold off a bit, down -8.40 at 1229.6.
