Pending Home Sales Forecast 1.2% Prior -5.6%
Asian markets were up across the board overnight. Meanwhile oil and gold took a hit and may remain under pressure today after Iran agreed over the wekend to curtail nuclear activities in exchange for nearly $7B of relief in sanctions. Today traders will be figuring out what the weekend's events mean for the markets and watching the pending home sales number. Tongues are starting to wag more and more that Big Daddy won't begin to taper this year. Everybody likes the thought of a Santa Clause rally.
The Dec S&P contract finished the week at a new contract high +1801.20. Dec WTI closed out the week with a loss of -.60 finishing at 94.84 but still up for the week +.35. Gold finished the day up +.5 but down on the week by -43.30 at 1244.1.
